He was slain (он был убит; to slay), and the king counted one hundred and three (и король насчитал = произнес счет /убитых/: сто три). Then Gagool again sprang to and fro, gradually drawing nearer and nearer to ourselves (затем Гагула начала прыгать взад и вперед, постепенно приближаясь все ближе и ближе к нам).
